All TY students and Junior Cert students are reminded to bring in their completed subject choice form by Wed Mar 7th.
Thanks to all the families who have enrolled a student for Sept 2018. An information evening will be held in early Feb. The entrance exam will be held in late Feb. All families who have enrolled a child will be contacted directly.
Reminder that TY talk is on this evening at 7.30pm, followed by a talk on 5th yr senior cycle options. All 3rd yr and present TY students and parents welcome.
Friendship Week takes place this week in Cnoc Mhuire. A special emphasis will be placed on students making and keeping friends. Bullying audits will be carried out in all year groups and activities will take place both inside and outside the classroom.
Dats Testing for all Junior Certs has been postponed until next Monday, Nov 20th. The exams are in three parts and each part takes 40 minutes to complete.
Humourfit Theatre Company will present two performances on Thursday Oct 4th. The first will be for all senior students on bullying and racism. The second performance will be for all junior students entitled “Might Bully Brady”. These performances are designed specially for teenagers and their lives. A cover charge of €2 will be collected from students to offset the cost involved.
On Monday, Oct 2nd at 7pm in school gym, there will be an information evening for present First year parents. Representatives from Triple P parenting will discuss how you can help your child to make the transition from primary school. There will be an update regarding Junior cycle and information relevant to First years.
Tomorrow morning at 9.30 am, the 5th yrs and TY’s will receive their Junior cert results. After this, they can be collected by a parent or guardian.
