Postponed- Gaeltacht Trip

Unfortunately, the trip to Colaiste Uisce, Belmullet has to be postponed due to high winds and a red weather alert in this area. The majority of the outdoor activities are water based but due to the red weather alert, these activities will not take place. As a result, Colaiste Uisce have recommended postponing the trip. 2019 Incoming 1st year Assessment

Our Assessments for incoming 1st years takes place on Sat Mar 2nd.
All girls will begin at 9.30 am and finish at 11.45 am.
All boys begin at 12 noon and finish at 2.15pm.
All students need to bring a pencil case and a set of earphones.
There is no need to be anxious about this assessment. A snack will be provided.
Please bring your Birth Cert if you didn’t submit a copy to us.

GO ORANGE EVENT

Friday Feb 15th is National Go Orange Day. the school is looking great with so much orange bunting up. The committee have organised a number of external speakers to address the student body. The day will begin with games in the Sports Hall at 8.30 am hosted by Mr Nally or a walk led by Ms McElvaney. 3rd years can relax after their mocks with a workshop from the Samaritans. Junk Kouture Regional Finals- Voting Open

Well done to our 3 groups that are safely through to the Regional Finals: Don’t Fence me in, CheckMeOut and Tulle it Over. As always, Ms Hetherton did an outstanding job on mentoring and tutoring all the outfits. The standard is extremely high and we are delighted we have 3 outfits through. All Ireland Basketball semi-finals

Congratulations to U 16 Boys Basketball team and their coach Mr Thornton who won all three of their matches today in the All Ireland play offs. They are now through to the All Ireland semi-finals which take place in Claregalway this Thursday on Jan 30th.

Mullinalaghta Leinster Champions visit Cnoc Mhuire

We welcomed Mullinalaghta, Leinster Champions and the McCabe Cup into school today. It was a great honour to have so many past pupils on the team.
