Leaving Certificate Established

  • Students study 7 subjects for the established Leaving Certificate state exams and LCVP (Leaving Cert Vocational Programme)
  • All students study Irish (unless they have an exemption), English, Maths.
  • Students choose 4 subjects from the following optional subjects: French or Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, Construction Studies, DCG, Art, Accounting, Business, Geography, Music, Home Economics & History.
  • Religious Education, Careers, Physical Education are also studied by all students but not for examination.
In September 2025, new specifications will be introduced and taught in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Business.
